S.O.S. Dental Placement was established in 1990 to provide the Bay Area with professional dentalstaffing.Our goal was to create one agency for all staffing needs. Placement Director and owner Laurie Carlson was able to bring her extensive clinical experience as a Dental Assistant and administrative background as a Dental Practice Manager to the development of S.O.S. Working in a busy San Francisco practice, she knew both the needs of personnel and the dental office.

Since 1990, S.O.S. has expanded, listening to the requests of our clients and staff.

As a registered provider with the California Board of Dental Examiners, S.O.S. offers continuing education in beautiful venue settings as well as home study and new online programs. S.O.S. is an American Heart Association Training Center for CPR certification. This 2 year certificate includes up to 8 CE units. Need to take a class?
